Small town parades are fun!

I hope everyone is enjoying the 4th of July! Today we went to the annual parade in the town of Chester, CA. Chester is about 30 miles away, or two towns over. It is a really busy place during the summer months because of the resorts, vacation homes, and camp grounds at Lake Almanor.

My kids had a great time. I will post a few more photos tomorrow.

I remember Chester...Susanville too. You live in a pretty place, and Happy Independence Day!

Nicely decorated. The more I take photos, the more I love being in a small town.

Jana-I grew up in Chester in the 70's and we had a great 4th of July celebration then too. I live in Montana now, and have yet to find a 4th of July like we had growing up! It is the BEST!
