Deer are everywhere in Susanville. They tend to roam in herds through the neighborhoods and adjoining fields. Thanks to my sister for snapping this photo.

I love sunflowers!

July is when my sunflowers start to bloom. A few are popping up in the front yard right now and I need to plant some more this weekend. We grow a forest of sunflowers in our backyard every year.
