Last Night's Sunset

The sunset last night was beautiful. When we were driving home, we had to stop at the Susanville Ranch Park to snap some photos from the parking lot.

We visited Wemple's Pumpkin Patch today. We didn't stay as long as we normally do because it was CCCOOOLLLDDD!!! BBBRRRRR!!!! We always have a great time and the kids left happy. I will post more photos of our trip over the next few days.

Not only is it nice, but it was made with sidewalk chalk.

Wandering Skipper Migration

I wish this photo had turned out better. In late July the Wandering Skipper migrated across Lassen County. This is Highway 44 just outside of Susanville. The entire area was blanketed in these little creatures. They look like small orangish/brown butterflies. It was a site to see!
