Antjas - They are prickly, but don't hurt unless you try to pick one up.
Rambling Around - I toss them away. But I have seen people around here make them into pumpkins. They paint them orange and glue fake leaves on them in the fall to use as decoration.
We are multi-level troop with Brownie, Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts. The Brownies meet seperatetly then the Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors. Be sure to check the right calendar when looking for activities.

Didn't know that California had tumbleweeds! I thought that was a Texas and Oklahoma thing. What do you do with them?
