Antelope Complex Fire Series #2

This photo was taken around 3 pm on a warm summer day, June 2007. The lightening storm that came through started the Antelope Complex Fire. As you can see, it was an ugly storm. The trees shown here were burned down in 2006 during a fire that was just outside the city limits.

That is a great photo! It is amazing the destruction that fire can do, even in a short time period, isn't it?

Beautifully dramatic! You really got some great fire photos for posterity.

When I lived near Denver, we had 3 large fires right around our place, but never got hit. One had a 30 mile front. Absolutely amazing to watch. Love the shot.
