This road is at the edge of the city limits. It looks a little lonely, but directly on the left is the Indian Rancheria housing.

That looks like the road out of town, the one I'd be shown if I did something wrong in Susanville.
Wow... I forgot that it's snowing for so many folks... I got a sunburn and wore short sleeves today.

The road does a good job of adding depth to your photo ... And you are right sometimes a photo can be taken out of context. One might think it is a lonely road when it is not. This is why your explanation is appreciated.
It's a good photo. Reminds me of a place where I take a photo every now and then.
