Eagle Lake

Just outside Susanville is Eagle Lake. This is one of our favorite places to spend summer days. We spend alot of afternoons here with our friends. Past this area is a nice sandy beach with a roped off swim area. My kids are already asking when we can go swimming!

Very nice. It sure looks like a fun place to swim.

You are lucky to have such beautiful lakes, in 'your neck of the woods.' Ones which don't yet look over-run with commercial ventures. Enjoy!

Thank you for your kind words, in your comment, on my leaving CDPB post. I'll still be having fun with my photographs. And still visiting people I've met. And I'll try to remember to put the link to my blog, after my signed name.

I'll bet the water is still very cold ... But that might not matter to the kids.

It reminds me of when I was younger, and my family would go to the lake, I would go exploring along the beach or up in the hills. We didnt have the worrys we have today.

the scenery in these lake photos is just amazing... and it's nice to live around so many =)... we have quite a few lakes around here as well, but the land is mostly flat - so no pretty mountains in the backgrounds...
