What a difference a day makes!

Yesterday the temperature was about 75. It was AMAZING! This afternoon we had horrible winds that knocked the power out right after school. Tonight it snowed! Weather in the mountains can be very unpredictable! As you can see in the photo, rain is falling on the mountains. This is Susanville's little hospital, about 25 beds. I believe it's the only hospital in Lassen County. It is MUCH nicer then the old hospital, which only had about 10 beds. You can see a few of Susanville's water towers in the background.

April weather is so up and down here too, but so far we haven't hit temperatures anywhere near 75. Maybe the high 60s within the next week, though!

25 beds doesn't sound like many. The people who live in Lassen County must be very, very healthy!

I will take the changing weather over the 100 degree dry days of mid summer. UGH.

I can see from the flags that barely hanging in the poles to show how strong was the winds. You said the hospital only have 25 beds. Yes that is a small hospital.

I know what you mean about the changing weather, it changes like that here in SE Missouri too - minus the mountains, of course!

Jana, it's been up and down here all week, too. Very confusing to the plants!

The hospital is quite attractive.

Our local forecasters are mentioning the "s" word again. Quite unusual for Seattle this late in April. Hope it's a late fall to make up for the short spring -:)
