California State Line

I am behind on my to do list this week. Well, to be truthful I am weeks behind.

So until I can get out and get some new photos, I will post some oldies (new to SusanvilleDailyPhoto).

This is a sign in Lassen County along the Nevada border. Its a very rural area road, its not even paved. Part of it is gravel, but the Nevada side is dirt. Its located behind the Herlong Army Base and Herlong Federal Prison.

Whew--that sign's been through it, hasn't it?

Interesting statement to folks entering our state...And last week I saw a license plate frame that said "West Sacramento Is Full-Go Home".

Looks like some outlaws had their fun :)
Because weapon laws are soooo more strict here, you would never see something like that in Europe.

Wow, target practice or someone does not like California.

Yeah, wow from me too!

It takes a Real Man to shoot a sign.

As you can tell this kind of defacing of public property always makes me mad!

Nice photo though.

Strange how you get these holey signs in the rural areas. :-) We have them in some areas as well. Obviously not enough to keep the locals busy in those parts.

This sign is on a pretty desolate road. At this point on the California/Nevada border, the road is gravel and dirt. I got lost and that is how I found this area, lol. A No Man's Land for sure!
