The Old Jail
The old Lassen County jail is located next to the county courthouse. This jail hasn't been used in decades. I believe it is still used as storage, but I could be wrong.
At least its being used for something. We have a few buildings in town that are just being used for storage. I hate to think if the renters decided they no longer needed the space what would happen to the buildings.
We are multi-level troop with Brownie, Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scouts. The Brownies meet seperatetly then the Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors. Be sure to check the right calendar when looking for activities.

that looks like a nice sturdy old building! they built them to last back then, it appears in good shape. Nice photo.
Secure storage by the look of those bars across the door. That's a really nice looking building.
A great , clear picture of a necessary evil!
If it is used for storage it just morphed from what it was built for since it was used to store people long term. Nice photo.

This is great! Reminds me of a scene out of the Brady Bunch or Andy Griffith for some reason. Thanks for posting!
I hope it's used for something. It would be a shame to lose this old building... If it is no longer in use.
